Ingredients

  • Mango  4 oz

  • 1 lime quartered

  • 6 mint leaves

  • Sprite   5 oz  (Soda water or alternative)

  • 2-3 slices of ginger  ( or ginger syrup 0,35 oz)

  • Ice

  • Mint sprigs and lime slices optional garnish

Directions

  • Remove the skin and pit from the mango and transfer to a blender. Beat until smooth
  • Muddle the pieces of lime, ginger and mint leaves to release the juice (If you don’t have a muddle, use a wooden spoon with a handle or something similar.)
  • Fill a glass to the top with ice cubes.
  • Add mango puree to a glass filled with ice.
  • Then pour the juice from the lime, ginger, mint.
  • Top up with Sprite and stir gently
  • Garnish the glass with mint and a slice of lime, add a straw.

Notes

  • If you want to make this cocktail but don’t have a juicy ripe mango on hand, don’t despair. You can use the frozen option; just be sure to thaw it beforehand. And if you want to add a bit more tartness, increase the amount of lime.
